It is my pleasure to announce that the inventory for the Linda Kaye Collection is complete. Linda Kaye graduated from TCU in 1963. She photographed many of the school’s events from 1959 until her death in 2007. She was a well known independent photographer, particularly in the area of sports photography. In recognition of her career accomplishments and contributions to TCU, the Schieffer School of Journalism inducted her into its Hall of Fame in October of 2007.
The Linda Kaye Collection consists of negatives, prints, contact sheets, and digital images. The collection includes photographs taken from 1962 to 2007 and is stored in 180 photograph boxes. Processing the collection took two years and included arranging the material and putting the negatives in polypropylene sleeves. Lisa Peña did the lion’s share of work on the collection, including most of the sleeving, so many thanks to her. Thanks also Jensen Branscombe, Amy Leslie, and our student assistants.
